Listen. 43% of Burners - some of the most capable and creative people in the world - come from California. But when you look at our “doom looping” cities, it’s not obvious that we’re here. Where’s our art? The surprise happenings? Our MacGyver'd solutions & playful prankster energy?
The Other 51 Weeks is talking to Burners who are making our cities better - whether that's San Francisco, Oakland, LA, or Black Rock City - and documenting what's working so we can inspire others to do something even bigger, weirder, sooner.
The "Robot Heart Residency" was a one month long, multi-warehouse pop-up in Oakland, California in November 2023. Robot Heart asked The Other 51 Weeks to create a speaker series for the event, and we were honored to bring 38 incredible folks to the stage.
For the next month we will be publishing those talks as we build toward the next Robot Heart Residency, starting April 25th.
